I have thought and thought about this “so called” political forum that we were all presented with last night from Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church. I probably even dreamed about it last night. So between my frustration and down right confusion I have decided that I need to just take the day off and not think about any of this.
I am leaving this open for anyone that happens by here to give their opinions and as usual, all opinions are welcomed. Again I will not be surprised if no one responds and I will be happy to respond back to you if you do. Maybe then I will have the strength to deal with all of this and to understand if this should have indeed even happened at all. All I do know is that I love my country and I want the best for it. I just don’t know if what happened last night fits into my expectations.
Addendum:
I am back here to add something that I just read at a blog called “American Creation”. I am adding this because this the first thing that has actually made me smile all day.

That’s an interesting debate ongoing at that site. Barbara certainly isn’t without fear to show her opinions and political ideals. lol
It’s cause for concern overall to consider how the Founding Father’s ideal for America regarding freedoms and expression may be falling prey to the age old human failings; failure to learn from mistakes past. As we note in history, each great civilization that has risen has found a way in the end, to end itself.
Have you found this site yet? <a href=”http://www.musingsofamaniac.typepad.com/”Musings of a Maniac. He’s an interesting political satirist and an American Idol fan. (it’s how I found him)
***edit Musings of a Maniac Someone was talking in my ear and messed up my fingers. ha.
Thanks for this Sunny. It seems that you and I are running in some of the same blog circles.
Isn’t that interesting. ha.
