OK… time to get back to reality for a bit.
Those of you that watched Barack Obama’s acceptance speech last night were privy to a history making moment in American Politics. Whether you are for or against Obama, anyone watching that speech has to admit that the man is unparalleled in his ability to both write and present facts in both a moving and effectual manner.
John McCain has a big pair of shoes to fill next week at the Republican Convention ( and not $500 ones ). While I think he can hold his own standing behind a podium and speaking from a written speech, I am a bit more wary of what he is capable of when left to his own devices. I think that this shows the real uncensored McCain. While not absolutely horrible it leads me to wonder how well he would be able to control his temper if he is ever put into a situation that absolutely needs him to control it.
The following is an article from Time.com. I first heard mention of this last night on MSNBC, when Chris Matthews brought this up to Brian Williams and Tom Brokaw. They were referring to a interview given by two fair minded journlists ( at least in their view ) to John McCain aboard his flying version of the “Straight Talk Express”.
