Palin is McCain’s Bridge to Nowhere. Thanks, But No Thanks !
Another informative Blog post by Akmuckraker. It seems that the mainstream media is giving McCain a free ride on Palin, but the power of blogdom is prevailing this time. The mudflats blog has already cycled around the world thanks to all who have linked to this site. One commenter actually found the link on the front page of a newspaper in Chicago. Please read this and pass it along.

Thank goodness. The drive-by liberal media has been giving a pass to Obama for the past year. It’s time they start giving that pass back to McCain. Palin is the real deal. She is better looking than Michelle and a better basketball player than Obama.
i see, nice link. I find it interesting, but as a political blogger, I won’t really take too much sides (I am liberal) about all this. I guess in the end the Republicans will see who is more or less experienced.

Mudfest it is…slandering her daughter who is a minor, slandering her husband because all is fair in politics, calling her irresponsible and a moron for having a child with Down’s Syndrome when everybody knows that child should have been aborted, commenting on her breasts and ovaries because, heck, that’s what women are, finding pictures of her in a bikini (which wasn’t Palin), denigrating her for having 5 children, how dare she have a career while having so many children and one with disabilities at that, etc.etc. Let sexism and misongonist prevail.
She’s lying about her stance on the Bridge to Nowhere. She was FOR it.
But don’t talk about that. Just pretend the media is actually liberal, and the-children-oh-the-humanity. This is exactly what’s wrong with this country: people are too lazy to think. Smart is too much work. We deserve McCain – we really do.
It goes to personal and professional responsibility which is entirely appropriate for voters to consider – how responsible is it for Palin to consider such a demanding (voluntary) job as Vice President when her family is clearly falling apart at the seams?! They are her first responsibility.
She chose to have a baby late in life even knowing that baby would be defective and require extra special attention from her. Yet her pregnant unmarried minor daughter is the one holding her baby while getting herself pregnant out of wedlock? Whoa, they think we’re stupid, huh! Where were Bristol’s parents when all this was going on? Where was the parental supervision? These are the Palin’s so-called “family values”?
Professionally, she has a pattern of abusing her public office, firing people for not supporting her as mayor (she had to re-hire the Librarian and “settle” with the Police Chief.) As governor, she is currently under investigation for abuse of power, which she initially denied and then has been proven to have lied with email and VM evidence confirming her complicity. Smart move, McCain, nominating someone who is under investigation!
Not for me or mine, thank you very much! I don’t want any crazy trailer trash with access to the nuclear codes next in line for President. For that matter, I don’t want a volatile, trigger-happy, tortured old man who doesn’t think through important decisions, at the switch, either!
