It couldn’t have happened to a better team. (cough,cough)
I know… most of the country hates the Yankees, but it is born and bred into my genes…. I AM an Native New Yorker and I can’t help myself…..
I don’t hate the Yankees at all….it’s just that in the past they’ve topped my team in the World Series.
And, I’m glad you have a sense of humor, my friend!
I do love New York, though! Manhattan and Brooklyn rock.

I don’t even have a baseball opinion. About New YorK? cool to visit. Saw the sights. couldn’t wait ti get back to smalltown Kansas. It used to be where the deer and antelople play. Now it’s deer, turkeys and armadillos.
You need to see New York through the eyes of a native New Yorker. That makes all the difference.
