God help us all, because if we keep this shit up we are all gonna go to hell. I am so ashamed to be an American after seeing this. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Have they totally lost their minds? I grew up with too many people around me that carried both the physical and mental scars of the Holocaust. How dare these people use this as an example. I would bet my last dollar on the fact that the asshole that made this sign has probably never even been within ten feet of a Jew. I am so beside myself with anger and contempt right now, that if I were anywhere near that person I would have spit on them.
I blame this on all those narrow minded misanthropic pinheads out there that plant the seeds inside the heads of these crazy hate filled people. Being against Healthcare is one thing and having the right to protest it is your right as an American, but for God’s sake, why make your point into one so vile as this.

Willpen,
I understand and share your disgust. However, I’m not sure which is worse… the sign or the fact that the GOP House leadership was there, egging these goons on. Where are the adults? Where are the people with enough integrity to call out the crazies? Perhaps one of the unexpected benefits of Obama’s election is to bring the crazies out of the shadows into the disinfecting sunlight. If the GOP is so dependent on these people as their base, then the party deserves to die.
MLTH,
It is good to see you. I am at a point where I fear turning my computer on and going to read the news. The continuing spiral down to insanity is just getting worse and worse. I feel like I have gone down my own personal rabbit hole.
You know, just when you think that people couldn’t possibly act any more insane, they fool you and do something so grossly over the top as to be stratospherically unbelievable.
It’s times like these that I wish that I lived in northern Virginia again so that I could go out and get arrested for setting fire to some asshole’s sign. First Amendment freedoms should not be afforded to people who do not understand the implications of comparing nationalized healthcare to Dachau. The two don’t even belong in the same sentence.
Geez I’m pissed.
The first hurdle in the health care war has been passed. We did it, but we just won the battle. The war is still being waged.
wicked glad about the bill passing!
But WP– I can’t imagine how this must make you and all our Jewish friends feel….. Irresponsible and idiotic to compare the two…like comparing an apple to …well a piece of shit
Ignorance is only bliss to those who live there. For the rest of us, it makes us want our heads to explode
Let’s hope and pray the Senate follows the House, and really tells these people to fuck off by making the bill into Law
<3
The next battle is to eliminate the Stupak Amendment from the bill that was passed last night. This is not a good thing.

I kept hoping that I would be able to comment calmly about these photos and the tactics that the Republican lawmakers are using.
But, instead I keep thinking about my friend’s father who was sent to Dachau. I believe I’ve mentioned him before – he was a member of the Dutch resistance. He made it home, his four friends did not.
The tactics and banners of the Republicans and LaRouches at the rally sicken me. I’ll leave it at that.
